I am glad you are here.

If you are finding life overwhelming and stressful, you don’t need to struggle through it alone. There are lots of things you can do to help you feel better. And you don’t need to spend hours scrolling the internet to find the solutions that work. You don’t even need to rely on the generic answers the AI would give to anyone.

I am an experienced licensed marriage and family therapist providing online therapy for adults in California, and I can tailor my approach to you. I know strategies that work for people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, grief and life transitions. I have a special interest in the transition to parenthood, coping with women’s health issues, pregnancy loss and infertility, and I know the approaches that help in those special situations. In my work I provide culturally sensitive care, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and trauma-informed care for every unique individual.

Everyone needs support sometimes. I hope after exploring my site you will take the leap to reach out. I look forward to meeting you.

Your experience is real.

And it is more common than you may think. According to research:

  • 1 in 5 birthing parents experience depression during pregnancy or postpartum, which makes it the most common complication of childbirth.
  • 1 in 10 non-birthing parents experience depression during pregnancy or postpartum.
  • 1 in 5 women experience anxiety disorders during pregnancy or postpartum.
  • 8% of women experience OCD during pregnancy, and 17% experience OCD postpartum.
  • 1 in 4 known pregnancies end in miscarriage.
  • 1 in 5 women ages 15 to 49 are unable to get pregnant after a year of trying.
  • 24.3% of US adults experience chronic pain (defined as pain lasting 3 months or more).
